LONDON, NOVEMBER 2024 – Hikvision UK & Ireland has hailed the recent 2024 AV Awards in London as a massive success, with more than 1,400 AV professionals from across the industry attending the prestigious event. The annual awards, organised by AV Magazine, recognise and celebrate excellence in the audio visual and technology sector.
Hikvision, an increasingly high profile presence in the Pro AV field, was the headline sponsor of the 2024 AV Awards, which took place at the iconic Evolution London in Battersea Park. Host for the evening was TV comedy legend Matt Lucas.
Hikvision’s display technology was on full view at the awards. Attendees were impressed with the full range of products in use, including fixed and rental LEDs, mobile poster LED displays, and transparent LEDs. Hikvision digital signage and interactive flat panel displays also garnered plenty of attention and positive feedback from event guests.
“We were thrilled to be the headline sponsor of this prestigious event, and congratulate all of the worthy award winners,” said Steven Ping, Director of Pro-AV at Hikvision UK & Ireland. “Hikvision’s participation underscores our dedication to elevating the Pro AV field, not only through innovation but by making sustainability a core focus.”
Hikvision’s LED displays recently received the distinction of being the first and only in the sector to achieve Green Product Mark certification from TÜV Rheinland. This is a high-profile endorsement of the company’s commitment to environmentally responsible product development and sustainable practices, and its dedication to fostering eco-friendly initiatives and supporting the global shift towards sustainable practices.
“We are excited to continue our journey toward eco-friendly solutions, providing high-performance displays that meet both the environmental standards and high expectations of our industry,” Ping said.
The 2024 AV Awards attracted a record breaking number of entries, with winners selected by an esteemed panel of judges from end-user organisations, consultants, and key industry players.
Adding a touch of interactivity, iuf group provided photo and 360 video booths, allowing attendees to capture fun, memorable content throughout the night – including with AV Magazine mascot Clive the Bear!
On top of all of this, attendees raised over £30,000 to support medical research for charity Parkinson’s UK, which is dedicated to finding a cure and transforming the lives of people living with this challenging condition.
