BLOQUE, a newly constructed building in Mexico, serves as a center for innovation, technology, and creativity. It aims to foster the development of digital skills among young people under the 4E model: Entrepreneurship, Educate, Employ, and Entertain. Central to the design was the need for a huge LED screen on the building façade to showcase 3D video content, aligning BLOQUE with its role as a beacon of tech innovation.
To realize this vision, a massive LED screen was installed on BLOQUE’s façade. This setup features high-resolution LED screens with nearly 23 MP clarity, spanning dimensions of 10 m in width on one side, 21 m on the other, and standing 10 m tall. Covering approximately 316 m² with a pixel pitch of 3.9 mm, the screen constitutes one of the largest Naked Eye 3D displays in Latin America. Designed with aluminum chassis for superior heat dissipation and IP67(F)/IP66(R) certification to withstand temperatures up to 60°C, the screen is well-suited for Mexico's challenging climate conditions. BLOQUE’s management team utilizes it to dynamically showcase 3D video content, promoting a wide array of courses, workshops, and conferences hosted within the facility.
The installation not only captivates attention but also perfectly aligns with BLOQUE’s mission to cultivate digital skill development. Rodrigo Ruiz Ballesteros, Project Coordinator of BLOQUE, remarked, “The implementation of LED displays has successfully fulfilled our vision for a tech-savvy innovation hub, and positioned BLOQUE at the forefront of digital innovation. It creates a vibrant environment that fosters creativity and technological advancement.”
