On match days at Piotr Wieczorek Municipal Stadium, more than 10,000 fans gather to support Piast Gliwice, one of the clubs competing in Ekstraklasa, the top division of Polish football. To keep supporters fully connected to every moment of the game, the stadium team sought a more modern and engaging solution. They aimed to deliver live match information, entertainment content, and sponsor messaging throughout the venue.
To support these goals, the stadium deployed Hikvision’s outdoor LED display solution. Two P6.6 Outdoor LED Displays (DS-D4266CO-2APA) have been installed, each measuring 6.72 meters by 3.84 meters. Mounted on the stadium wall above the spectator stands, the screens ensure excellent visibility across the seating area. The displays are used for a wide range of match-day content, including:
Built for long-term outdoor operation, the displays feature lightweight aluminum cabinets for easier maintenance and durability. A built-in heat dissipation system enables stable operation in high temperatures without requiring air conditioning. In addition, intelligent power distribution across the integrated circuit LEDs helps reduce energy consumption by more than 40%, supporting more efficient stadium operations.
The two Hikvision LED Controllers (DS-DT60C-01HI04NO) allow staff to remotely schedule and control content while automatically monitoring the system. Built-in alerts notify operators of network interruptions or temperature changes, helping ensure smooth and reliable operation throughout busy match days.
